We will set sail at 9am from the Tunquelén hotel. We will sail the waters of Lake Nahuel Huapi towards Brazo Blest. Along the way we will see iconic places on the lake, such as Centinela Island, Cascada Blanca and the Dos Hermanas Islands. We will have a light lunch, with individual pizzas or fajitas. We will arrive at Puerto Blest in the afternoon, where we can take a walk to Lake Frías or the Cántaros waterfall. At night, dinner will be served on board.

We have breakfast and start our return to Puerto Tunquelén. It is possible to make one more stop at a beach, depending on the time available. We arrive at Puerto Tunquelén at 2:00 p.m.

The crossing requires good weather to be carried out. It will not be carried out with gusts of more than 30 knots for the

First day, which is usually a headwind. Above all, we look for safe conditions. It must be taken into account that the predominant wind is from the west, so on the way out it always blows “rageously”, with a consequent longer duration than on the way back.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE CROSSING?

You will experience incredible landscapes, beaches with crystal-clear waters, impressive waterfalls, starry nights, deep conversations and the scent of the lake. You will learn to make the most of the upwind and to be aware of the changing winds of Patagonia. You will practice many maneuvers and will sail perfectly downwind.

You will definitely want to stay one more day.

WHAT NOT TO EXPECT FROM THE CROSSING?

It's not just another trip. We sail like comrades who like adventure and sport.

You will be part of the crew, collaborating in the activities of sailing. You will spend several hours at the helm, during which you will have to adapt to different wind conditions. It is necessary to have some knowledge of sailing, and to have sufficient skill to move around the sailboat.
